Leafy Candles Part #2.
After we replaced the original baseboards, painted them up, and peeled back the tape, we were left with a bit of a mess.. I’d been looking for a little rug to put down in there after I finished with.my kraft paper floor treatment.
, but hadn’t really found anything..I came up with an easy fix that really was super quick to do.Much quicker than I thought it would be..
I touched up the paint on the walls, which took me all of 5 minutes.Then I quickly taped some wide stripes at 6 inch intervals..
The taping took maybe 10 minutes, the painting, about 20.
Seriously, what took me so long to do this?.So, I have to be honest with you, even though I only spent a total of maybe 5 minutes decorating this year, I actually really.
love how our house looks right now more than ever before.Everything is really simple and tidy and just calming.
I like calming these days with a 1-year-old and a bathroom completely torn apart to deal with.So I know that it doesn’t provide quite as much inspiration as a whole well-thought-out-and-complicated decor scheme, but I like it so that’s what you’re getting.
