Despite lacking all of these basic dining room amenities, I have to say that I absolutely love the way the room looks and functions now, so if you have some of these same “problems” that we have, or have weird floors/ceilings/walls like us, here are some tips to still end up with a room you love if you’re not quite ready to do a full reno where you rip everything out, and start fresh..

Raid the back-to-school lunch supplies and throw a little party!.Pumpkin Pie Spice Salt Dough Ornaments.. Fall decorations and a lovely smelling house all from basic pantry staples.. Quick and Easy Haunted House Pillow Cover.. A tea towel, a Sharpie and some ribbon are all you need to have a fun Halloween pillow for your living room!.

Harvesty Corn Bundles.. Corn from the grocery store (or from a corn field out back) becomes a perfect harvest-style decoration!.I hope you found something in here today that will help to make your season a little more fun!.I promise you this isn’t another one of those projects. You know, the ones that I start and then leave for 7 months, then start again, then leave for a year.

It’s just a little non-constructiony project, but I’ve been plugging away at making the Master Bedroom a little less horrifying and I think it’s coming along nicely. It’s not the big huge complete tear-down renovation that we want to do in here eventually, but it’s worth it to me to just do a few little things to make daily life a little more enjoyable in the meantime.

Waking up in a happy room and turning on a pretty lamp is going to make all the difference in those 3 am feedings with the new baby for me.

Sometimes I see other bloggers do these posts where they share where they got everything and how much they paid for it, and I usually just love those.account and trying to get more followers, so I focused on trying to figure out what to do about that.

Last year I really wanted to work on setting up my email list and creating a series of emails to go out to new subscribers, so for about a month, that was the priority over everything else, but now I can set that aside and focus on something else.Since this blogging game is ever-changing, you really have to just pick something, try it out, and see if that’s something that’s really going to help you achieve your blogging goals.

There really is never a wrong thing to be focusing on since we’re all really still just making things up as we go along in this business.🙂 It’s all about trying things out and seeing what works for you!
