I’ll be working to get things looking and functioning better and better around here over the coming few days, but in the meantime, I hate to leave you feeling like I’ve deserted you and left you postless for more than a whole week.

If you read home/DIY/decorating blogs very often, then you’ve probably heard a lot of us ranting and raving about how much we love Fall.Then you see all these amazing Fall displays that are showcased all across blogland and you spend the whole season thinking that everyone who has a blog must just be a really gifted decorator.. I’m going to let you in on a little secret.. We like Fall so much because it’s so darn easy!Fall makes us look good.
If you’ve never tried setting up a fancy Fall porch for yourself then you may not know this, but you pretty much can’t screw it up.. It’s the best!.It’s almost formulaic: Lots of pumpkins, either real or fake….. Plus some bright mums, plus some corn stalks….
Plus some kind of wreath…..
Minus any real effort….I just didn’t feel like it.
We usually put the second tree in the kitchen, but we’re having a big new table delivered in there and I just wanted to leave the extra space empty to move around in while I’m setting up and enjoying the new table..I cringed a little when Kennedy insisted on the multi-colored light.
The rest of the house, though, is decorated within and inch of it’s life and I’m loving it all.I can let Kennedy have the tree..
