I thought I’d clean it up the other day, just to get rid of some of the piles of junk and to get ready for some Fall ideas to brew..
I know myself well.. Now, I’ve finally got it finished.Well, here’s an update anyway.. Do you even remember her closet?

It was a looong time ago.It looks like this:.And the bottom half used to look like this:.

After we replaced the original baseboards, painted them up, and peeled back the tape, we were left with a bit of a mess.. I’d been looking for a little rug to put down in there after I finished with.my kraft paper floor treatment.

, but hadn’t really found anything..
I came up with an easy fix that really was super quick to do.No really, that colour red on the jar is.
When I was picking my colours, I could neither resist the punny nature of this colour nor it’s perfect Christmassyness.I was standing next to the dining table with my red plates on it when I saw the colour in my paint chip deck and it matched perfectly so I had to add it in somehow..
I just swirled a bit of it inside this mason jar, let it dry upside down on some paper towels overnight and I had myself a happy glossy red jar!.I love its retro look with the white berries in it..
